I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Utah with a concentration in Substance Abuse. Since graduating, I have worked in outpatient and residential treatment settings, supporting adolescents and adults navigating OCD, anxiety, trauma, substance use, and other mental health concerns.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and incorporate this evidence-based approach to help clients process trauma and other distressing life experiences. I am also trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard treatment for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients develop psychological flexibility, respond differently to intrusive thoughts, and build lives guided by their values rather than fear.
I believe in treating the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Every individual's experiences, emotions, and relationships shape how they move through the world, and I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel understood and empowered. Together, we explore not only symptoms but also the underlying patterns, personal history, and values that contribute to lasting healing and growth.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based care. I draw from ACT, ERP, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, strengths-based interventions, and Motivational Interviewing to tailor treatment to each client's unique needs. Whether you're working through anxiety, OCD, trauma, substance use, depression, or a major life transition, my goal is to help you build resilience, develop practical coping skills, and create meaningful change that aligns with the life you want to live.
I am passionate about helping clients strengthen their relationship with themselves and others while gaining a deeper understanding of their values, strengths, and potential. I believe therapy is about more than reducing symptoms—it's about creating a life that feels authentic, fulfilling, and worth living.
Outside of work, I enjoy running, golfing, playing pickleball, building Legos, practicing yoga, spending time in nature, and hanging out with my corgi, Ash. These activities help me stay grounded and remind me of the importance of balance, connection, and making space for joy. I currently live in Austin, Texas, and provide virtual therapy to clients throughout Texas, Utah, and Illinois.
