I graduated from the University of Utah with a Master’s in Social Work and a concentration in Substance Abuse. Since graduating, I have worked in a variety of settings, including outpatient and residential treatment facilities, supporting adolescents and adults struggling with mental health concerns, trauma, and substance use.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and incorporate this approach into my work to treat trauma and other mental health challenges. I am currently working toward EMDR certification through EMDRIA. I am also trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to support individuals struggling with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
I believe in treating the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. My approach is grounded in the understanding that each individual’s experiences, emotions, and challenges are deeply interconnected. I strive to provide a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings while also considering the broader influences of relationships, environment, and personal history.
Using a blend of evidence-based practices—including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and strengths-based approaches—I help clients navigate life’s challenges while fostering resilience and self-awareness. Whether working through anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, or life transitions, my goal is to empower clients to find balance, healing, and personal growth.
I am passionate about helping clients build meaningful connections with themselves and others and guiding them toward a deeper understanding of their values, strengths, and potential.
Outside of work, I enjoy running, golfing, playing pickleball, building Legos, practicing yoga, and spending time with my corgi, Ash. I currently live in Austin, Texas, and provide virtual therapy to clients in Texas, Utah, and Illinois.
